Announcement of new Fiber & Textile Guild
If you have been around the shop recently, you have heard lots of discussion about a new fiber & textiles guild that is being formed. Fleeces To Pieces is sending this announcement to our distribution list, and I encourage you to share the word with your fiber arts and textile arts friends as well. Individuals are encouraged to join as members. Artists, shop owners, guilds, farms, and associated businesses are encouraged to sponsor this exciting new organization!

Coastal Carolinas Region – Art in Fiber & Textile (CCRAFT) is a not-for-profit organization that takes a “Farm to Finished” approach to engage and promote associated disciplines to keep the textile industry and fiber arts current and relevant in our local coastal community. We are a brand new organization, and our website is still under development.
Our first membership meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 19th at the Donn Studio/Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center at 120 S. Second Street, Wilmington, NC. Guests are welcome to attend with a $5 admission fee that can be applied to your membership if you decide to join. The event starts with a social at 5:30pm followed by the meeting and guest speaker.
If you can’t make the meeting, ZOOM access will be provided to members who are registered prior to the meeting.
Attached you will find the Business Plan and Bylaws for this new organization. The Membership Registration Form and Sponsorship Registration Form are also attached.
